According to the Bible, the only legitimate reason for divorce is adultery
on the part of your spouse. If your spouse has divorced you for any other
reason (a touchy subject among some theologians) I'd say that in the
Biblical context once they remarry or have sex with another person, that
act
is adultery in God's eyes, thus freeing /you/ to remarry. IMO, until they
do so you are bound by Biblical principle to /not/ remarry.
But here's my point... Let's say you were 100% faithful; churches will allow
your spouse to get remarried if she divorced you and committed adultery.
Why? It's clearly wrong, according to the bible.
