It has everything to do with it? You live in white bread land all your life,
and the chances of seeing a big takedown are nil.
You've refused every invitation I've extended to take a ride on the South
Side. Next time you go to Dallas for a user group meeting, I'm sure Steve
could take you to visit the places the tourists don't go.

What does that have to do with my comment? Other than a few publicity
events, there are no big busts. The flow is not stopped or
interrupted. The politicians talk a lot, but illegal drugs are low
priced and freely available. The drugs are coming from somewhere.

Detroit, the South Side, or any of the usual suspects in terms of hell

Why, yes I have. In fact, I could not get home from work one day a
few years ago because my blocks were cordoned off, State Troopers were
searching every car including mine and Trooper helicopters orbiting
overhead. They busted a big crack house on street over and the dealer
was a big fish. They did simultaneous raids across the region and
netted millions in cash, tons of drugs (really) and dozens of illegal
weapons of all sorts.
The streets were quiet for a long time.
