I was making no opinion, Albert. I was only saying that the argument you put forward was faulty, from a logic point of view. That is a mistake I _never_ see you make.

Albert, I am not in favor of doing it, I am only saying if the
manufacturing of handguns ceases, the result will be fewer handguns in
the future.

Low legal sales of hand guns would put a lot of today's hand gun
manufacturers out of business. Once gone, they would not be feeding the
supply. Over time the national inventory of hand guns would decrease.
Police departments are beginning to trace the ownership of guns used in
crimes and are surprised that many of the guns were purchased new by the
perp.
