Re: Speaking of redistributing wealth

Yeah but it was Pelosi that has been pushing for the bail-outs.
So what gives? No party unity?

As he has repeatedly said, there is only one president at a time. Pay
attention already.

A lifetime. Nobody in Washington gives a rat's patootie about you or me.

We've already waited 8 years for the Republican policies to work. How
much longer do you expect it to be, Paul?

We'll see. Right now the idea of $6 gasoline seems remote.

in your example, how much taxes did Exxon already pay?

But let me be even more clear. How will your example look if we're
paying $6/gallon after Obama takes his windfall cut?

Who will that price hurt more? the rich or the poor?

The bottom "95% of taxpayers" will need that $500 tax cut and more
just to fill their tanks and heat their homes.

Bill, one example would be you paying $4/gallon for gasoline while
Exxon
makes a billion dollars a week. We would call that redistributing the
wealth from everyone to the lucky few.

You're a moving target! Cool!
I say you're politicalPeeps have said that they want to tax profits

that

they call windfall. Do you know what a windfall profit is? Don't
tell

me

that it depends on what the meaning of is is. That was used already.
When you tax profits that means there are less profits to be

distributed

by

the company, that means that it's an indirect tax on all investments
including 401's. That also means that the government will have more
$$

to

line their pockets and a little bit to give to whoever they deem

requires

it.
Sorry I can't be specific since I don't know what a windfall profits
is

or

who exactly will benefit.

Want to look that one up and let us know? They are your main

squeezers.
