exactly right. What would I do if he went berserk. I considered
knocking him down with a shovel but that seemed like a hopeless ploy.
But what the heck, walking him down to the lake worked.

I have. More than once. All you can really do is put your arm on their
shoulder and talk softly to them and walk them to a place where there is
no one else around. I can tell you for a fact that John-John. all 6'4"
of him, could pick you up and throw you 10 feet when he's clean. On ice
he would rip your ear off first, and then throw you onto the roof.
