Re: when is a woman a slut?

Reminds of this joke:

MAN: "Would you have sex with me for $10,00?".
WOMAN: "Yes"
MAN: "Would you have sex with me for $10?"
WOMAN: "What kind of girl do you think I am?"
MAN: "I know what kind of girl you are, I'm just negotiating the price."

Subject: [CPF0000] when is a woman a slut?

Recently there were some remarks made that got me to wondering what Life
is Like in the Right lane.

The discussion was about 60% of married men and 40% of married women
having had extra-marital affairs.

There was a comment made that suggested that a woman that has an
extra-marital affair is a slut. Why? How is sluttiness determined?
Are those mens sluts too? What *is* the proper word for male sluts?

The comment bothered me for a couple of reasons. Mostly though, can a
marriage survive an affair if the partner learns about it?

My own experience is that I know at least a dozen women that have had
affairs, or even a couple of one-night stands, and it has never even
entered my head that anyone would consider them sluts. The strongest &
happiest marriage I ever knew suffered at least 2 or 3 extra-marital
events by her and at least one by him.

I am not condoning behavior, or making a case for infidelity. I am only
asking about the response to it. What does a man that loves his wife do
when she wanders? How would good Conservative Christian Republicans
handle this?
