I would, but the season is over. Their numbers here in VT have just
exploded in the last 10 years. Used to be a real event when you would
see them. Now they are everywhere.
A big flock frequently feeds alongside the interstate in S. Burlington.
One nearly flew into my windshield one day. Over in upstate NY near
Lake Placid, a lady was knocked off her motorcycle by one last year and
wound up in the hospital for over a month. I think we should extend the
spring and fall turkey hunting seasons. They're nearly as plentiful as
pigeons.

No, but I had four in my back yard this morning, one big hen and three
smaller ones, possibly this years poults.
Locally grown turkey (2.59/lb., ouch)
Cornbread/Sausage stuffing
Butternut squash cooked with oranges, nutmeg, cinnamon
Mashed potatoes
Creamed pearl onions
Fresh cranberry sauce
Some kind of green salad
Pumpkin and Apple pies
Quarts of gravy....
