Does it happen in Illinois, either Paul? Or are you just repeating
really old myths?
If it does happen, back it up. Show some evidence of it besides your
gut feeling.

One cannot really appreciate the state of things in Illinois until one has
lived there and been a part of the process.
Things like that taking people from polling place to polling place in buses
so that they can vote more than once just don't happen in Vermont or
Oklahoma.

Sure it can happen, Paul. But did it? Gerald said he saw it. He also
said he was a pole worker. Any one that works the pole at a topless bar
is to be believed I suppose, even with absolutely no corroborating
evidence? Why?
Paul Nelson wrote:
You're right I apologize. Gerald did say he saw unregistered people be
handed ballots. Wayne claims that this was not possible. You don't believe
Gerald, because you have never seen it happen, and Wayne says it can't
happen. Therefore, it did not happen.

No, Paul, we were not talking about paper ballots. Gerald says he saw
unregistered voters vote, and their votes were counted. Thats what we
were talking about.

You have seen unregistered voters vote? You know they were unregistered
because??? And you just watched, said nothing to a poll worker? That
is very unlike you, Paul.

Please show some support for this, Gerald. No one has seen this happen
as a general rule, excepting you.

Wow,
Wayne do you look around and see what actually happens at a polling
place?
We have paper ballots. For some strange reason, our punch card ballots
were taken away back in 2001.....
The completed ballot is scanned for accuracy and deposited in the lock
box, to be counted later...

It's a provisional ballot, the only paper ballot you're likely to see
at
a polling place these days. And in all but a handful of states they
only apply to federal elections. There is strict accounting of the
ballots and a paper audit trail. Remember that there are poll watchers
at every polling place and a system that is pretty good at eliminating
fraud. The days of ballot box stuffing are long gone.

name is not on the roll. (yes, I know, the ballot is put in a stack,
to
be counted later. REALLY? Have you ever seen a "separate stack" of
ballots, waiting for review? Does it have the persons name on it? )
If you haven't seen that, we are at one of three places:
You NEVER have voted -or-
You are truly oblivious of things around you (the more probable) -or-
You are being disingenuous with you're arguments....

huh? What rules are made at the polling place Gerald? Someone can
walk
in on voting day, with their name not already on the rolls, and vote?
The 30-day requirement is not valid? Not enforced? What, exactly, is
that you can attest to?
