Your reading skills are about the same as Booth's. I don't know this guy
(although my son does). The guy was working at the facility at which it
was
held.
I know it's been several hours since you made the original post. I'll quote
it so you can remember:
"One of the bennies of the job is that I don't have to pony up 3K a plate to
see the guy."
He's talking about the personal benefits of his job. If he just wants to
literally _see_ the guy, he can pay $25, not $3K. Like I said originally,
his statement was misleading. It makes sense that a private fund raiser at
a higher price and less people would allow more opportunities to speak with
Obama on a personal level, but that isn't one of the "bennies of his job."
