Well, dictators are human, they die.
But the dictatorship remains behind, doesn't it? The Iranian secret
police didn't evaporate when the Shah was overthrown. The new owners
kept it around. Just in case..
Supporting a dictator is so anti-democratic that I'm startled to find
a defense of the practice.
