I am in the same boat. My daughter married her National Guardsman
before he ships out. Did it on impulse at City hall. They plan a
church wedding when he gets back.
Does that imply that you have a target date? If so, you're one up on
me for the moment. Mine arrive at SeaTac tomorrow evening, so I'll
maybe get some details.
One daughter.
Tradition.
Finite funds.
Not an easy decision. Sort of a nice problem to have, in the grand
scheme of things.
I'm at least in the position where this will likely be my last
significant direct financial contribution to her until I'm dead. And
if I'm *very* lucky, it won't actually be much of a contribution.
From my understanding of each of them, this will _not_ be a
traditional sequence of events. I really have no idea what's in
their minds.
Gonna be an interesting few days coming up. I just hope I don't have
to get a passport to attend the wedding! (Seriously.)
