But, Chuck, Intel *did* know that this intel was bogus.
They kept saying to ignore it but GW's team would not accept the Intel
community's conclusions. That can't be blamed can they?

I think this really illustrates how badly the human intel side of the
house has become. Electronic intel is the mainstay of spies these
days, and the art of understanding people and their motivation for
spilling secrets is today's Greek Fire. This decay has been going on
for a long time; the shock is how far it's been allowed to progress.
