I can't comment on AT&T as they're on my lifetime ban list.
I use Comcast for Internet, DishTV for Television w/DVR, and SunRocket
VOIP for telephone over the Comcast 'net connection. All seems to work
pretty well. Outages for the Internet are few; of late I've had more
in-house equipment issues (dead router) than issues with Comcast
themselves.
My suburb is rolling out free-with-ads (or cheap w/out) metropolitan
WiFi; I'll have to compare to see if it's worth switching.
