My favorite demo of the power/design of OS/2 was to open 4 games of
solitaire at once, start each one on auto-play, and then change focus
from window to window and watch the focused window run faster and the
unfocused windows slow down, to furnish scarce resources to the focused
window. Of course today's machines render that unneeded, but at the
time I felt it was a significant advantage.
