If you read the transcript of the deposition, you will find that there was
no violation of the law. The question was ambiguous. The clarification was
asked from the court. The court clarified the potential answers. He gave the
one that was the truth based on the court clarification.
Having spent many hours in the court room, I've never heard someone say...
"Yes, your honor. I know the question was did I hold her hand, but the
answer is that we had incredible sex all up and down the staircase."
