Re: Another Gun Nut Runs Amok

I can't blame it on the liberal media but not profiling that survivors life is
long overdue.

A bunch of tv execs sit in a room to plan the upcoming broadcasts...they must
have discussed him...right? And they don't think it's newsworthy enough to
find out about his life right away and have the info ready for us all?

Instead, they play the little freaks rants over and over and over again.

Well said Dave.

It's sad that his story isn't leading every newscast. Admittedly,
I've not been watching much TV coverage of this, but I have only read
about his story in a few places. It should be a huge story, one of
the only bright spots in an otherwise gloomy picture.

seen as a result of his experience in the camps. Brave man.

He will also have had strong views on the role of an educator. Old as
he was, and young and fit as the students were, he will have seen it
as his unquestioning duty to protect them. He had invested his time
and energy to prepare them to think and act in the world. He wasn't
about to let a random maniac destroy that investment. At the start of
the day not one of them would have had an inkling of how much he loved
them or why.
