NY, the home of the democrat nominee for prez.
Why didn't she do anything to increase restrictions on guns?

Hi Rick,
It's the imposition of more and more
gun laws over top of the ones
already there that I have a problem with.
My argument is that there aren't that many restrictions now. At least
in NY, we are a long, long way from a gun ban.
If the existing laws can't be enforced,
why bother enacting new ones?
I agree. There's no point fiddle-faddling with more unenforced laws.
Again, the only people that are effected
are those who follow the rules.
I respectfully continue to disagree. Lawful gun owners aren't sent to
prison; criminals are. Criminals who use guns get longer sentences
than those who don't use guns. That's because of gun control laws.
It's easier to get a gun than a driver's licence in NY, so I don't see
how NY's gun control laws are much of a hindrance.
As I noted earlier, you and I are probably talking about different gun
control laws. I posted the laws that govern me; perhaps the laws
governing you are more draconian, I don't know. All I can say is that
it's pretty easy to legally get a gun here, and I don't follow the
argument that gun control laws have made it difficult to legally own
and use a gun.
