Ask Spain if their illegal immigrant problem would be better or worse
without their fence. I don't see them making any efforts to take it
down.
If it cuts the free flow if immigrants by any significant percentage
(and even critics agree that it would), then it is worth it. If it
makes it easier for the border patrol to do their job, then it's worth
it.
If the bar for support is set at 'foolproof', then no, a fence will not help.
