I'm not trivializing this incident, I'm providing balance to the
hyperbole displayed by you. If you're going to dip your toe into the
fascist pool at one end of the discussion, I'm going to swing just as
far the other way. If you feel you must use sensationalist arguments
to bolster your point, I'm going to ridicule them.

It's a simple thing--probably a concept even The Decider might be taught
