I've been in the arena, Paul. Believe me. I've made the headlines more
than once, both good and bad. I know what it takes.
I've won and I've lost. I've listened to the critics and how they could
have done it too, or done it better. Usually I just answer "Then why
didn't you?" and their answers are almost always the same: "I am too
busy" or "You were just lucky" or "How was I to know that could be done?"
Mostly though, with the good things I "was lucky" and with the bad
things, they'd "have done it better". That is pretty much the recurring
theme.
