Oh my gosh! The man that issued the warrant has decided he was right,
after all. Why am I less than amazed?
"Congress' effectiveness "is not threatened by permitting congressional
offices to be searched pursuant to validly issued search warrants," said
Hogan, who had approved the FBI's request to conduct the overnight
search of Jefferson's office"
Sorry, but I'll wait for the other shoe to fall. I can't believe
Congress, Republicans or Democrats, will let this slide. It really does
put a chilling effect on legislators, and there can be no doubt but what
legislative intimidation is the end result of this avenue of attack by
the Executive Branch.
