a military solution? Have you examined the problem? Looked at the
empirical evidence? Whatever else it is, it is not a military problem as
the mess in Iraq demonstrates.

Huh??
You have repeatedly blamed Bush for 9/11. Garrett was merely pointing
out that Bill Clinton was not blamed for allowing Oklahoma City.
You however, indicated that the terrorists had tried for years to
attack and been prevented by the Clinton team. Tell that to the
families of those killed in WTC #1 and on the USS Cole. In fact,
Clinton's policy (to which Kerry apparently wants to return) was to
treat terrorism as a law-enforcement rather than a
military/self-defense issue. That policy did not work.
Heaven help us if Kerry is elected.
