Besides, one of the principles of evolution is that improves the previous
stage
This is not true at all. Evolution is about adaptation. An organism that
adapts better is able to pass those traits on to the generations that
follow. If the environment changes in such a way as to make these new traits
less useful then organisms with traits that work better dominate. Some
organisms can't adapt and die out. It's a continuous process and doesn't
happen in stages. It's like when you take a journey. You may make stops
along the way but the journey itself consists of many small steps. If we
visit the places you stopped at and determine when you were there we can
reconstruct your journey, even if we don't know exactly how many steps it
took you to get there.
It's only an improvement in the sense that is improves the organism's
ability to survive. But it that doesn't necessarily mean it's an improvement
forever.
We weren't chosen. We were lucky. Science shows that there were several
proto-men. They either couldn't adapt or were absorbed by our ancestors.
But if there is no evolution how do you explain the diversity of the human
species? Is God white, black, or yellow? Who was *really* made in his image?
You may think human society is devolving because of what you see happening
around you. However, humanity is entering a new stage in its history. There
are far more people on this planet than ever before and technology is
advancing at a rapid pace, dramatically altering the way we communicate. In
the past, if 1 % of the population was "deviant" it was actually a small
number of people. Today that 1% is a whole lot of people and they are able
to find each other much easier and form alliances..
