Anybody notice that the ACLU is working to change the law to permit ex-convicts to vote in Florida? I'm not commenting, but the first thought that crossed my mind was the 2000 election and all the fun they had there then..... Reeve, don't hold back, tell us what you really think! You make some very good points. I even agree with much of what you have to say. I've always been a fiscal conservative, and a moderate social liberal. It's gotten to the point that, fiscally, I can't tell the difference between the two parties. If I weren't so violently opposed to throwing away my vote, and if they actually had a coherent foriegn policy, I'd probably vote libertarian. Since the GOP always wins national elections in Indiana, I might just do it this year anyway - if I knew his name. I disagree with you about real time e-voting though. If you thought a lot of dead guys and proxys for the homeless and the non-political vote today, just wait. Rick --------original message-------- It's sad: the party standing for a balanced budget and less government is running our butts into the ground with colossal debts and social policy Constitutional amendments. <snip> _______________________________________________ This is the Open discssion among iSeries Users (CPF0000) mailing list To post a message email: CPF0000@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/cpf0000 or email: CPF0000-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/cpf0000.
