Ah the joys of home ownership ... found a frozen pipe last night ... it 
was where a plumber had replaced a sill-pipe, rather poorly, and the 
soldered connection broke.

Luckily, I was able to apply a field developed "PTF" to the problem 
(Plumbing Temporary Fix, natch).
