For the record, I totally agree that evoting, as currently being implemented in 
the USA, is completely inappropriate.

But just for discussion, why would a marked paper ballot be verifiable? Is it 
impossible to switch ballot boxes for example? With trillion-doller economies 
at stake, how would protection of paper ballots be guaranteed? Hasn't evoting 
come into existence due to problems with paper ballots in the first place?

Again, just for discussion.
