Thanks Gary - but I actually did form a sole proprietorship for social media and digital marketing services. Still working on the website - but I would definitely take some mainframe work on, if presented with the opportunity. But there is a consulting position in SM management I applied for and the recruiter told me that the client insists on w2 not 1099 - and I am not sure why they would do that.

THanks,

adrienne

If you want, I have instructions on how to create an S-Corp without spending a thousand

shouldn't cost as much to have them create it. You can email me directly if you want it.

I have instructions on filling out quarterly and yearly taxes that I file on my own. I
don't pay for a payroll service. I am the only employee in my corporation so it's very
easy. My personal salary out of the corporation is the same every month so I calculate
my taxes only once at the beginning of the year. I have a web site that does the
calculation for me.

I use Quickbooks to keep track of my income and expenses. My CPA uses the
Quickbooks file to do my taxes.

Let me know if you have any questions.
