This is all very interesting. I wonder how these companies deduct your
compensation for their tax purposes if they're not filing 1099s. Also, I'm
surprised that variations in your reported income from year to year doesn't
raise IRS audit flags.

In my case, this is a full-time, single gig. Can't say for certain that
I'd like to do this extremely long term where I'm juggling clients.
