JD Edwards World Consultant

Our direct client is seeking a JD Edwards World consultant for a 3-6 month
contract in the Chicago area. If you match the requirements below and are

Responsibilities Include:



* Ability to develop solutions in RPG, RPG IV/LE, CLP

* Design, develop and deliver quality technical solutions for business needs

* Work closely with Director of IT, Project Managers and other IT associates
to develop solutions

* Recommends and implements technical solutions for approved projects

* Identifies new applicable technologies and solutions

* Create estimates and manage against project designs and budgets

* Provides technical support and troubleshooting as needed

* Develop technical documentation to support development activities

* Provide management with regular communication on the progress of projects
and other initiatives



Work Experience:

* 7+ years working in an iSeries environment

* 7+ years programming & working in RPG, RPGIV/LE, CLP, AS/400 Query, SQL,
XML, FTP

* 5+ years working with J.D. Edwards World Software



Additional Desired Experience:

* Knowledge of software packages used by client: Extol, A/R Traffic, Aldon,
ROBOT, MIMIX

* Knowledge of EDI X12 standards the ability to define mappings and
translations

* Knowledge of UPS and FedEx meters and interfaces

* Web based technologies: iSeries Web Services, ASP

* Good working knowledge of i5/OS and Windows XP



Skills:

* Results-oriented professional who is a self starter with excellent verbal
and written communication skills

* Experience in structured design/programming in a JDE environment using
Change Management Control
