REPORTS TO: Manager, Application Development 

 

PURPOSE OF ROLE: 

·        Leading multi-national distribution company is looking for an 
experienced, self-motivated PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne Application Developer. The 
ideal candidate will have 8 to 10 years experience in systems in a variety of 
settings, including PeopleSoft World, EnterpriseOne, Data Warehousing, System 
Integration etc.. Experience in international business is highly desirable. 

·        This is a hands-on position -- you will meet with users to develop 
requirements and will then develop the solution, alone or in a team 
environment, through implementation. Good written and oral communication skills 
and a thorough understanding of general business principles is a must. 

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 

·        Four year degree in IT or Business, or equivalent and relevant 
experience 

·        Minimum 5 years in systems development 

·        PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne/World or other complex ERP systems 

 

BUSINESS SKILLS: 

·        Solid understanding of Business and Accounting 

·        Strong verbal and written communication skills 

·        Ability to solve complex problems 

·        Ability to work on your own and in a team environment 

 

TECHINICAL SKILLS: 

·        Proficiency in EnterpriseOne development tools 

·        Proficiency in C/C++ highly desirable 

·        Database proficiency DB2/MS SQL 

·        Java/RPG IV/ILE RPG highly desirable 

·        IBM Websphere Application Server and Websphere Commerce a plus 

·        System Integration (IBM MQ/MQI/JDE XPI/WebMethods) a plus
