Hi, Dave:

I did a quick google search for "free cobol compiler" and found this link:

http://mainframewizard.com/content/free-cobol-compilers

On that page, I see several that look worth investigating.

See also:

http://www.thefreecountry.com/compilers/cobol.shtml

There is also this page:

http://www.freebyte.com/programming/cobol/

that lists some free COBOL compilers ... some are older DOS-based ones, but should run under Windows in a "DOS box" (cmd.exe).

Hope that helps,

Mark S. Waterbury

Hi,
Has anyone managed to get openCOBOL running on windows?
Has anyone an easier solution for a COBOL compiler ?

Thanks
