For your situation, it seems that adding the compiler option
would work best for you.

In our case, we just call the DMPILECBL program (NEWS/400, 4/97)
dynamically so we have no need to embed the process statement
or change the default compiler options - it works well.

I tried to Google NEWS 400 DMPILECBL and didn't get any hits. Would you mind
providing a link? Perhaps DMPILECBL is a better solution for me too.
