General assistance on COBOL syntax etc. is far more readily available than
for RPG simply because COBOL is cross platform language.  So perhaps there
is less reason to come to a platform specific forum such as this.

Also don't forget that iSeries Network has a COBOL forum as well.

There always seem to be plenty of answers available on this list when an
iSeries specific question arises.
