RE: ILE cobol / C procedure call

You haven't included anything on the call syntax etc. so I'm having to
guess.

Have you used the call syntax CALL 'cfunctionname' Linkage Procedure using
.... returning (or alternatively:

 Special-Names.
           Linkage PROCEDURE for "cfunctionname".

The error message suggests that you have coded a program call not a
procedure call.

Once you have got this bit right, you will also have to ensure that for the
CRTPGM you either specify the name of the service program to the CRTPGM - or
use a binding directory and specify that on the CRTBNDCBL command.
