Leif, Ok, since I am still having problems with the TRANSACTION-AMOUNT problem (hopefully that is the only one), i took a look at the printer spacing chart in the book again. The way the book has it printed out is like this for the TRANSACTION-AMOUNT: $ZZ,ZZ$.99 - wouldnt I have to put in something like PIC z(4).99 or something like that? But when I attempted this one and similar ones, it came up with the same error as before. I am done for tonight, I will be up early in the morning to continue with this journey.
