  • Subject: R: R: R: ILE debugger - problem displaying variables in structure s(C OBO L)
  • From: Finucci Domenico <finucci@xxxxxxxxxxxx>

A good friend of mine (finest AS/400 professional - he sleeps with a 650
model in its room)
suggests to change OPTION parameter to read "*UNREF". As you may see,
the default value is *NOUNREF , in such a way that:
"OPTION parameter help:
*NOUNREF
Unreferenced data items are not included in the compiled program.
This reduces the amount storage used, allowing a larger program to
be compiled. You cannot look at or assign to an unreferenced data
item during debugging when the *NOUNREF option is chosen. The
unreferenced data items still appear in the cross-reference listings
    produced by specifying OPTION (*XREF).
"

We're talking about ILE compiler, of course.
Let me know the results.
Bye
Domenico Finucci
