James

I am not an RPG programmer so I am stepping out on a limb. But I seem to
remember from previous discussions that RPG does not have to be set to use
Teraspace, it always does. C on the other hand does not, it has to be told
that you want to use teraspace specifically, turning it on in the MODULE
requires the compile to be carried out with the support, the program can be
compiled without TS support even if the module has it. So you may have a
module that is capable of addressing TS but the program does not. Not sure
why one specific install would have the issue? But then IBM does not say
when it will load the data into TS, it just does it when it determines it is
the right place to do it.

I have seen similar results when I was addressing journal ESD data,
sometimes it would be OK other times it was not when TS was not turned on in
the program and the module..

This is weird: if I look at the modules with a DSPMOD, teraspace support is
turned off, across the board, both C and RPG.

But if I look at them in the program, from the *MODULE page of DSPPGM, they
all show teraspace support turned on, across the board, both C and RPG.

This doesn't add up. But a teraspace conflict doesn't explain why it would
suddenly stop working at one (and only one) installation, over a weekend,
with no changes to any of our stuff.
