I'm looking for the file coresponding to the /etc/services on UNIX

Any hint how can I do this? I would like to run a service on TCP port
6543.

For the services table:

WRKSRVTBLE

or

ADDSRVTBLE myservice port(6543) protocol(tcp)

However, that won't make Inetd run it. For that you'll have to edit the /qibm/userdata/os400/inetd/inetd.conf file.

This topic has nothing to do with C (even if the service is written in C) so ask future questions on the Midrange-L list.
