hi all,

i would like to know if there are any DataQ APIs in 'C', one way i could
figure out is through passing the callable CRTDTAQ to system() in the
<stdlib.h> but i would like to avoid that if there is any API to access
DataQ directly.

right now a thread in a server program (in 'C' using system()) creates and
writes to a request DataQ, an RPG program receives this data, processes it
and writes processed data to the DataQ. The server thread picks up this data
and sends it back to client.

i would like know if this is fine, is there any better way of doing it.

thanks in advance.
