This is probably because the program is running in the default activation
group (though C programs may be somewhat different than other programs on
the iSeries).  When you compile the program change it to run in a new
activation group, and this problem should go away.  Once you are done
testing you may want to run it in a named activation group or the default
activation group for performance reasons.
