We automated the Y2K process (even for AS/SET code) using a patented 28 year approach.

Maybe there is a more clever way to do this than us digging out our
Resuscitator2000 code. Recently we introduced this very inexpensive, easy-to-use, and reliable bridge between Excel and the KMR file which entirely replaces MRP100 functionality; it's called Bucket Brigade.

Not sure what your client wants to do and not sure how they are using MRP functionality if the KMR file is mmddyy instead of mmddyyyy. But .... now you have a fresh perspective to kick around that might be useful to your client.
