In earlier versions of BPCS, this task would bomb if anyone was keying data
into inventory at the same time. Because we have inventory workers showing
up at 4 am, not leaving until 6 pm, we were careful to teach the person who
launches it:
1. How can you tell if anyone is signed onto inventory, so you know not
to launch it when there is a potential conflict.
2. How to get at the work stations involved, and take them to a
conclusion.
3. For those work stations which are behind locked office doors, DO NOT
DO the steps which would conflict. Send e-mail to relevant people, who was
doing what, leaving their office door locked, with this conflict going on.
4. IT workers know how to kill other people sessions, but this can mess
up what they were doing.

Subject: [BPCS-L] INV920D - Daily closing does not end

Hello, I have the following problem: we are running the daily closing
inventory (INV920D) from Friday and still not over. I can check because it
takes so long?. Previously only took about 30 minutes. I have 8.3.3 ERP LX.

Best regards
