Jose. I think it is more about the content and less about whether there is audio or not. I thought it was helpful that he was able to provide a video that actually related to the subject matter (ORD700) of the original post.

Tony,

I don't doubt you may have a good application, but it left a bad test in my mouth the fact that you chose to use YouTube (a good idea) but did not want to invest the time to record the audio for the presentation (trying to get a quick sell?)

I highly recommend that you record the voice.

We distribute a product called AppMapper which enables you to
interface directly from Microsoft Excel into BPCS via your iseries application.
- we have over 70 off-the shelf BPCS master file & transaction entry
programs (including ORD700) which are already mapped for you to select
from and more are being produced all the time.

The application uses the BPCS screens and respects any BPCS security
you have in place (only if the user is logged into BPCS can you run
any
updates)
All regular BPCS validation is involved and any errors are recorded
into the Excel for audit purposes
You can reduce ORD700 input time from minutes to seconds!

Here is link to a short video demo of this process:

We are using BPCS 6.102, and have used ECM in the past to handle
Inventory transactions via TITB file

I have now been asked to investigate Customer Order Creation via TOHB/
TOLB files

any advice / pointer would be appreciated
