subject: [BPCS-L] Question regarding GGM

Hello - I'm hoping to get some help regarding the GGM.

We're working on a project to pull some financial info from several of our

BPCS sites. I understand how BPCS stores the balances for the periods,

but can someone help me understand what the fields GBL1, GBL2 and GBL3

represent? We don't have any documentation and aren't sure exactly what

the balance in these fields represent.

Any details regarding how the balances roll at year end would also be

appreciated.

Thank you -

Emily

The opening balances for the 3 data sets go into these fields.

BPCS GGM INITIAL FILE LOAD

OPENING BALANCES = 1 NEXT FISCAL YEAR GBL1

2 CURRENT YEAR
GBL2

3 PRIOR YEAR
GBL3

DR/CR PERIOD 1 THROUGH 6 = NEXT YEAR

PERIOD 7 THROUGH 20 = CURRENT YEAR

PERIOD 21 THROUGH 34 = LAST YEAR

TO KEY IN OPENING BALANCES USE 0000YY

AS THE DATE
