Sorry I forgot to mention the version. We are running version 6.1.

Al, I will take that into consideration.

Thanks for the feedback.

Tell us your version of BPCS.
BPCS security has been upgraded several times.

At version 405CD, if someone has command line authority, they can bypass
BPCS security.  This was fixed in later versions, and there are fixes at
version 405CD for that.

SFCO* is not a standard BPCS naming convention, which impacts how menu
security functions.
You may need to alter what menus the relevant users have access to.

Subject: [BPCS-L] BPCS Secuirty Menu Aurthorization

Hello All,

I'm trying to remove authorization from two users for 1 particular object.
The object is SFC0620D, which is a customized program that we created years
ago. The object is set up correctly in the BPCS Security Object
Master(Library type = O, ship object = O, Product Owning Object = SFC, Menu
Object = 1). And in the user profile secuirty settings, the BPCS product
code SFC is set to 0 (not authorized). And the program is not on the object
program list. But the option is still showing as available on the menu and
allows the user to access it which we are trying to prevent. I've deleted it
from the BPCS object master and re added but no luck. I haven't tried
recompiling the object yet, that will be my last resort.

Does any one have any ideas what I may be missing?
