BIll,

I am working with a client who has been fighting this same beast for several years. They are moving to solve it by setting up an offshore facilityto act a pseudo agent. US demand is passed to the offshor facility via DRP. Domestic teadtime is minimal ~ 2 days. The DRP relationship has the 4 week transit time. The offshore facility has the vendors production leadtime. Good luck in moving your users off the dime.

Regards, Larry Costain

Isn't there somewhere to plug in to allow this 4 weeks?
Yes, there is a Lead Time field in the Distribution Relationship screen.
I tried to talk them into using this, but the current manager is
esistant to automating some processes and is comfortable the way he is
etting up Min's and so forth.
