Hi Dan,

Do you know if someone put in a System Reply list entry or if you have some third party message monitoring software that might be answering the message?

Try WRKRPYLE Command.

Also look at the print writers

Tye the WRKWTR command (Example shown below)

Device Sts Sep Form Type File User User Data
PRT01 MSGW *FILE *ALL SFC220O STEVE SFC220
PRT02 MSGW *FILE *ALL
PRT03 MSGW *FILE *ALL
PRT04 STR *FILE *ALL

Make sure someone did not start the print writer for a specific form like INVC or something like that.

If so you might want to try ENDWTR WTR(PRT03) OPTION(*IMMED)

and then

STRPRTWTR DEV(PRT03)

Not knowing your specific environment or setup this steps will probably help you.

Good Luck...

Subject: [BPCS-L] Printer Problems

We are using BPCS 4.0.5 and IBM OS V4R3MO. After the last IPL we are having
rouble printing to our forms printer. Normally when we release a spool file
n a form that was not loaded previously, we get the message "LOAD FORM TYPE
*STD' DEVICE PRT03 WRITER PRT03 (G B I H R C). We then entered G to
ontinue printing on the new form. Now we are not getting the prompt to
hange the form but rather the reply H is automatically being entered into
he response by the system. Can someone tell me what is causing the
utomatic response of H to this message? Thanks
