It is my understanding that when an item goes negative in a location the
system is flagged for a cycle count. This field or designation is
different from the cycle count selection process. The system does this to
MAKE YOU perform a cycle count. The only way to get rid of this type of
flag is to clear the flag via SQL/DFU or some other 'behind the scenes'
tool.

I hope this helps.

[BPCS-L] Cycle Count - Clear Cycle Count program (INV810)

Hi Everybody,

When we generate a Cycle count work sheet (INV310) in version 6, system
provides two spool files, âCycle count work sheetâ and âPreviously
selected listâ.

After performing the âClear Cycle Countâ option (INV810), previously
selected list items should disappear from the list However, we find some
items appearing in the previously selected list after âClear Cycle Countâ
option

After we run the program - "Clear Cycle Count" we expect that this
previously selected list should become blank when we run the cycle count
worksheet.

On analysis we found that items having negative balance are only
re-appearing in this list.

Has anybody experienced this issue?

regards,
purush
