Have a client on BPCS 6.0 rel 04

We've been chasing a problem for 2 days and are no closer to resolving it
now than when we started.

We need to identify inside and outside operations records in the FOD file.
Our confusion originates with a lack of consistency between the RTOFLG field
in FRT and the OSTAR field in FOD.

FRT.RTOFLG values are limited to 0 (inside operation) and 1 (outside
operation) however in this client's FOD file there are no records with
FOD.OSTAT = 0. FOD.OSTAT is either 1 or 3 and there are more 1s than 3s.

Because there are more FOD.OSTAT records = 1 than 3 we've assumed they are
the inside operation records and FOD.OSTAT = 3 are the outside operations.

Can anyone confirm this for us?

And does anyone know why there are no FOD.OSTAT = 0 records? Since FOD is
initially populated from FRT when a new shop order is created we expected
many FOD.OSTAT = 0 records, not none.

TIA

Roy Luce
