In earlier versions of BPCS, data entry used a data area or file member
to
store data before actually posting to master files. If someone had a
connection crash, then resumed the task, the previously entered work was
not
readlily apparent to the end user, with risk of double entry.

Also work station ids needed to be no more than 7 characters long,
because
the work areas were named using combination of first 7-9 characters of
work
station plus letters indicating type of work. If 2 or more users with
work
station names like QPDAVE0003, it was a garbage in garbage out scenario.

AH,

What version of BPCS/Lx are you running.

ACR500 should not create duplicate/wrong transactions in the RAR file
unless there were duplicate records to start with.

Hi,

I was just thinking, if some is running ACR500 in a single threaded
environment, Some time it is creating duplicate/wrong transaction in
RAR.
Any suggestion would be appreciated.
Thanks,

AH
